By car

Ty Hiraeth is only 10 minutes from the M4 Junction 40. Get off the M4 at Junction 40 signposted Port Talbot A4107 and head for Cymer A4107 (if coming from the east this is the 3rd exit). After about 100 yards turn left at the mini roundabout signposted Cymer, Cymafan and Pontrhydyfen. Stay on that road for approx. 4 miles until you get to a sharp left signposted Neath B4287.

After turning left you'll immediately see a bus stop on the left with a steep left turn just after - signposted Oakwood. Go up the short hill, follow the road around the chapel on your right and Penhydd Street is the first street on the right opposite the green church.

Please note, the first row of houses you see coming up the hill is Aqueduct Terrace, not Penhydd Street.
